VAT Manager

Jerroms Miller Specialist Tax is seeking a VAT Manager to join our expanding VAT Advisory practice in Solihull. This is an excellent opportunity for professionals looking to enhance their technical expertise, take on complex VAT advisory projects, and collaborate with experienced industry leaders. The Role:

• Lead and manage complex VAT advisory projects, including matters related to land and property, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate finance transactions.
• Provide expert VAT advice to internal teams on a wide range of commercial matters, ensuring timely and effective resolutions.
• Work closely with the VAT Director and the marketing team to identify and pursue business development opportunities, strengthening relationships with both existing and potential clients.
• Contribute to the growth of the VAT practice, with the opportunity for fast-track progression to Senior Manager, including involvement in presenting at webinars, seminars, and other professional events.

The Person:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to develop strategic solutions.
• A solid understanding of VAT, with a genuine interest in expanding technical knowledge.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage effectively with colleagues, clients, and senior stakeholders.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment and independently when required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant IT tools.
• Highly motivated, with a strong commitment to personal and professional development.
