About the role Our Client is a growing business / accountancy practice looking for a Part-Qualified Accountant to join its finance team. You will play a key role in month-end reporting while we support you to finish your ACCA, CIMA or ACA qualification.
What you will do
Prepare month-end journals, accruals, prepayments and reconciliations
Help produce management accounts and variance analysis
Maintain the fixed asset register and balance sheet reconciliations
Prepare VAT returns and support year-end audits
Work with budget holders to explain costs and forecasts
Help improve finance processes and controls
What you need
Studying towards ACCA, CIMA or ACA, with good exam progress
2+ years in a finance or accounting role
Experience with month-end and balance sheet reconciliations
Strong Excel skills (including lookups and pivot tables)
