Purchase Ledger Clerk

12.80 per hour
37.5 hours per week Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm (Early 4pm finish on Fridays)

We are seeking an experienced Purchase Ledger Officer to join our client's busy finance team on a temporary basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to support the smooth running of purchase ledger operations within a growing business, ensuring supplier payments are processed accurately and on time.

• Process supplier invoices accurately and efficiently
• Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies
• Manage purchase orders and supplier records
• Prepare supplier payment runs
• Handle supplier and invoice queries
• Process employee expenses and company credit card transactions
• Assist with VAT schedules and month-end activities
• Manage the Accounts Payable inbox and finance-related enquiries
• Provide general administrative support to the finance team

• Previous experience in Purchase Ledger, Accounts Payable, or Finance Administration
• Strong understanding of invoice processing and supplier management
• Experience with supplier reconciliations
• Good Excel and finance systems knowledge
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
• Strong communication skills and ability to manage multiple priorities

• Experience with Sage 50 Accounts and Sage Intacct
• Payment run processing experience
• Employee expenses administration experience
