Excellent opportunity to join a global market leading business that is highly acquisitive. Our client is looking for a Qualified Financial Accountant to join a well-established and impressive team based in Warrington. The successful applicant will have strong financial and audit experience with the ability to liaise at all levels across the global corporate finance function.
* Management and preparation of statutory accounts for all UK and European entities * Lead internal and external General Ledger and statutory audits, Ensure the group remains SOX compliant * Management of overall Financial Consolidation process including intercompany eliminations * Monthly and quarterly consolidated accounting submissions to corporate according to strict deadlines * Management and Review of all trial balances within all appropriate reporting entities to ensure all accounts are allocated, controlled and understood * Balance sheet reconciliations and approvals; processing of month end journals including payroll and pension * Regular liaison with Group to ensure all information requirements are satisfied on a timely basis * Review and reporting of JV/JA accounting positions * Involvement with Mergers and Acquisitions when required * Preparation of monthly Trial Balance flux analytical tool for all Europe entities and distribution to entity controllers for completion
You will be a professionally qualified accountant (ACCA/ACA/CIMA) with prior statutory accounting experience ideally with knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS. Experienced working for a large international business or Accountancy firm will also be advantageous.
