An excitng role has arisen for a proactive Part Qualified ACA | ACCA | CIMA Accountant to carry out a 15 month contract for a health and leisure based business in South Yorkshire. This role would suit a part qualified CIMA / ACA / ACCA who is willing to consider a 15 month contract. Our client will offer study support for the successful candidate.


The main remit of this role is to to ensure accurate recording of financial transactions and to assist with the preparation of the monthly management accounts. Candidates will need to be flexible to travel other sites around the Yorkshire area.


  • Preparation of timely monthly management accounts (P&L and Balance Sheet)
  • Reporting on non-financial KPI’s
  • Reconciliation of entity balance sheets
  • Ensure all ledgers and other books of account are accurate and up to date
  • Perform and/or review monthly reconciliations
  • Prepare month end journals, prepayments and accruals
  • Presentation of results to management in monthly finance reviews
  • Review of financial controls procedures with a view to improving/standardising controls across the group
  • Project work as required / analysis
  • Carry out other ad-hoc duties as requested by the Financial Controller from time to time

The Requirements:

  • Part qualified ACA | ACCA | CIMA | AAT
  • A minimum of three years' experience within a finance role ideally management accounts
  • Advanced Excel skills
