Description: Our client are a market leading business, based in Aberdeen with major interests in the Oil and Gas sector. They are now looking to recruit qualified Accountants into their Corporate Finance team. Ideally, candidates will come from a professional practice background and be qualified within the past 3 years, preferably with a background in Corporate Finance. Primary responsibilities: Contribute to direct client management through participation in meetings and conference calls Assist in the preparation of descriptive memoranda as part of the sale process Assist in the production of pitch books for submission to potential clients Assist in the production of business valuation documents as part of a business sale or buy side process Create business valuation and financial projection models to assist in valuation of businesses and in assessing viability and structuring of deals Assist in the arrangement of debt and equity finance for acquisitions and financial restructuring Assist and support in other key aspects of the sell side/buy side process Provide feedback on project status and outline any arising problems and potential solutions Manage Analysts Manage and coordinate deal administration As well as professional accounting qualification, applicants should also have/be: Knowledge of MS Office, in particular application of Excel Advanced knowledge of accounting practices and financial analysis Experience in interpretation of company balance sheets, profit & loss accounts, historical and projected figures Existing understanding or desire to learn of oil and gas market trends and ability to present relevant data Experience in utilising comparable transactions and comparable companies to generate valuation multiples Understanding of financial modelling and financial analysis techniques such as IRRs and NPVs Experience in valuation assessments and understanding of banking and institutional covenants Effective communication and co-ordination skills Effective delegations skills Ability to work in team environment Ability to use own initiative and work tight to deadlines Get in touch for further information!
