What’s the role about?

As part of our Finance team, you’ll be joining as our Management Accountant, 12 months maternity cover, who is responsible for supporting in the production of management accounts, and creating reports for but not limited to store P&Ls, payroll, balance sheet reconciliations and commercial reporting.


Who you are

  • Fully qualified or newly qualified accountant
  • Experience within a retail / fashion business
  • Strong Excel and systems knowledge
  • Well organised, self-motivated with strong communication skills
  • Team player with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment


What you’ll be doing  

  • Supporting in the production of the monthly management accounts
  • Taking ownership of store cost reporting including posting of relevant journals (accruals and prepayments) for review with the finance manager
  • Production of Store P&Ls and cost reports for the distribution to Retail Operations Team and Global Retail Director, including commentary on variances to budget
  • Producing weekly payroll reports to be distributed to senior management
  • Commercial reporting and ad hoc analysis– weekly sales & footfall trackers, sales and margin & discount reporting, etc 
  • Balance Sheet reconciliations, including detailed breakdowns of prepayments/accruals and identification of risks and opportunities
  • Assisting the FP&A Manager with the production of budgets and forecasts.
  • Providing assistance with the audit process
