Job description

Fund Accountants are part or fully qualified accountants who manage the accounting requirements of investment funds.

Fund Accountants provide vital accounting and reporting services for companies managing large funds which must follow specific reporting rules and regulations as laid down by statutory bodies such as the Financial Services Authority.

Typical duties include:

• Net Asset Value (NAV) production.
• Financial reporting.
• Liaising with fund managers and deal teams.
• Producing investor reports.
• Management accounting.
• Statutory reporting.
• Financial analysis.

Qualifications

Fund Accountants are usually part or fully qualified with one of the major accounting bodies. Fund Accountants must also be able to demonstrate familiarity with financial markets and products.
