Job description

Fund Controllers are experienced and senior accountants who manage the accounting and reporting requirements for investment funds. Fund Controllers often manage teams of accountants who carry out day to day accounting and an analysis as well as regular reporting.

Typical duties include:

• Managing a team of fund accountants.
• Producing financial reports for clients and colleagues.
• Liaising with fund teams in order to produce client accounts.
• Tax analysis, management and reporting.
• Cash flow and budget reporting.
• Statutory reporting.

Qualifications

Fund Controllers are usually qualified accountants with significant experience of investment funds. Fund Controllers should also demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills as liaison with clients and report writing are important aspects of the role.
